My future job

Hi there, today I'm gonna talk about the job that I would like to work on. As you know, there is a lot of work to be done regarding forests and their management in Chile. And not only in this, but there are also many things to do to improve our relationship as citizens, with the environment. So, I would like to use my knowledge, learned at the carreer, to improving this relationship, by supporting any activity that involves environmental education, scientific studies, safeguarding biodiversity, social work and promoting ecological awareness. I like very much teaching botany stuff, I used to enjoy to do helpers last year, but beceause of the pandemic, this year it has become complicated. I'm so sad for the first grade students, they have not had the opportunity to get to know the laboratories!  Also I like to study the flora of the country, and I have known that there is some consulting companies that carry out flora surveys to evaluate projects that involve the area. So if the...

The hills Chena and Lonquén are two hills located south of Santiago, in the commune of San Bernardo, surrounded by agricultural and grazing activity, so they are under great pressure from anthropogenic activities. This has been degrading the natural and necessary conditions for harboring the ecosystem's wildlife. The sites of interest are considered as biodiversity hotspots at the international, due to the high degree of endemism and its various threats. This is why my colleagues and I decided to do something. So we applied for the "Premio Azul" fund. We set up a project called "Embracing the Maipo Hills" (Abrazando los Cerros del Maipo) and send it to the competition. The project consists of promoting the ecological restoration of the degraded sectors of the hills, through the establishment of a plants nursery of native plants that inhabit both hills, which are destined to be planted in the reforestation areas. Also, the project includes pedagogical visits, env...

Our proyect was buy some Recording implements like a Microphone and an Interface and learn how to record songs with softwares. So We began to earn money together by playing in the subway and in the buses. At the middle of 2018 We had raised enough money to buy the stuff We wanted. So We went very excited to the Crown's Plaza, the nest of every musician. We finally had in our hands all the stuff to start recording. We'd already composed some songs so the only thing missing was for the songs to sound good. We decided to share the Studio every month. So one month I had the Studio and the next one I gave it t...

When I was like seven years old, thirteen years ago! I went on vacations with my family to Punta Arenas. My Uncle invited us because he was in charge of an hospital construction (He is a civil engineer) and the company he worked for, gave him a very big and nice house to live during the work. I was a child so I don't remember much about the vacations. But I do remember some funny trips around Punta Arenas. One day we visited a wonderful natural place, called 'Milodon Cave' (Cueva del Milodón). This is a natural monument located in the Patagonia near Puerto Natales, a beautiful town with a beautiful landscape. The monument is situated along the flanks of Cerro Benitez. It comprises several caves and a rock formation called Silla del Diablo (Devil's Chair). The monument includes a cave which is notable for the discovery of skin, bones and other parts of a giant ground sloth called Mylodon darwini  in 1895. It is also part of the End of the World Route, a scenic touristic ...
